Friends, Old & New

Well, well, so much has happened in the last 2 months that some days it feels like we’ve been around for years! In the last week alone we’ve been interviewed by distinguished author Lesley-Ann Jones; had a photo shoot with up & coming local cricketer Henry Shine; been sketching out our upcoming Women’s range with Shepperton Ladies first-teamer & former captain Rachel Holmes; and we’ve met with the editorial team for the new Streatham magazine who are running a 2-page special on TITAN for next month’s issue!

Our social media pages seem to have a life all of their own. In fact both Henry & Rachel approached us via our Twitter feed @TITAN_CRICKET. It was also through Twitter that we came across a couple of interesting companies. W3 Footwear in south Wales are, like us, a new brand that launched in the last 6 months and manufacture their own design cricket shoes. Please do check out their website at www.w3-footwear.co.uk and give them a follow on @W3Footwear to keep up-to-date with their latest product releases. While you are there please also give a follow to @CricketScreens and check out their website www.cricket-sightscreens.co.uk where you can see their radical new sight screens and traditional fences.

While we’re on the topic of new friends we really should mention It’s Just Cricket, a specialist cricket store in Woolworth, London. I had the pleasure of meeting Paul & Chris when I visited them with our product range about a month back. They are both very knowledgable and incredibly passionate about cricket. If you can’t make it down to their store then do give them a follow on @ItsJustCricket where you can enjoy their YouTube product reviews.

Yes, we’ve made some great friends in the last couple of months but should not forget our old friends too. We have received great support both pre and post-launch from the Gentlemen of West London CC (@GOWLCC), the Judd Street Tigers (@JSTigers) and Crown Taverners CC (@crowntaverners). There is great camaraderie and goodwill in the cricket family, long may it continue.
